Govinda Naam Mera Movie Review

Shashank Khaitan directed a movie in one of its genres like comedy thriller. The plot build is a bit slow but after 20-25 minutes of the movie, it becomes so interesting you won’t leave your seat. The plot has a number of hilarious comedy punches and parallelly the suspense build for the next scene. The cast selection is up to the mark all played the character worth it. The director must be given credit for cinematography, direction, and execution.

Vicky Kaushal (Govinda) did fantastic as a dancer and the whole character who has a chilling transformation from a loser to a very smart guy. Bhumi Padnekar tries to look more sexy and attractive in the movie, but that is not all required she has that glamour to attract everyone. A few things to criticize are the contains the number of songs which is a bit annoying and somehow the running time can be shortened out if it is not stretched.

The plot has a number of twists and turns which can’t be expected by the audience. The mind-blowing stuff from the movie is it starts from a bungalow dispute which is not relevant in the end, and nobody gets that. Kiara Advani as Suku justifies the character as well as shows her versatile acting skills. Slowly and gradually the plot of the film reveals that there is more to it than meets the eye.

Govinda Naam Mera Movie Review: Positives

  • The cinematography, direction, and well-executed film.
  • Plot twists and turns in the movie.
  • Well-selected cast with appropriate performance.

Govinda Naam Mera Movie Review: Negatives

  • The number of songs sometimes feels annoying.
  • The initial part feels a bit slow during the build-up, although others can find it interesting.
  • The runtime can be shortened if unwanted songs and a few stretched scenes were not there.
