Lakadbaggha Movie Review: Arjun Bakshi(Anshuman Jha) teaches martial arts to a few students and works as a courier guy in the daytime but at night he goes hunting people who torture dogs in various ways.

There are very few movies based on animals produced by Bollywood. These types of movies failed to do much in box office collections. Anshuman Jha’s Lakadbaggha has flawed but fun to watch. Ridhi Dogra as Akshara playing the character of a cop seems to be promising. Recently there is a lot of buzz going around on social media regarding the mistreatment of street dogs, this movie represents the harrowing crime executed by a few narrow minds people.

The film is directed by Victor Mukherjee starring Anhusman Jha, Ridhi Dogra, and Paresh Pahuja as lead cast. It is produced under the banner of First Ray Films. The film is all set to release on 13th January 2023 in theatres. It has a total runtime of 2 Hours and 9 Minutes.

Lakadbaggha Movie Review

Lakadbaggha movie is based on a heinous crime executed by a few feeble-minded people across the country against street dogs. Arjun(Anshuman Jha) comes as a savior and started breaking the bones of the people’s troubling animals. Arjun character is an innocent guy teaching martial arts and working as a courier guy and at night he becomes a vigilante and starts punishing the wrongdoers looks amazing to watch.

The cute love story of Arjun and Akshara makes the story a bit gripping and holds the audience till last. The showcase of martial arts by Arjun during the actions seems to be so real and gives goosebumps while watching. The good thing about the movie it has almost no songs which is a great move.

Paresh Pahuja plays the character of an antagonist in the movie. He the only mastermind behind this smuggling and trafficking in the movie, and he totally justified his character as an antagonist. The complete film revolves around Kolkata so there are many scenes where the Bengali language is used and the accent.

Tarun Bakshi(Milind Soman) plays the character of Arjun’s Father. He has very few minutes of role in the movie but he gave some great lessons to his sons while teaching martial arts. Tarun has always taught Arjun to never forgive wrongdoers. Arjun one of the stray dogs is missing. He has begun his hunting for the people who are responsible for his missing dogs.

Lakadbaggha Movie Review: Positives

  • There are only a few movies based on Animals. This is well-executed and has a good plot making this a must-watch movie.
  • Good action scenes to watch. The fights seem to be real and worth watching.
  • The cute love story works a little cherry on top of the ice cream.

Lakadbaggha Movie Review: Negatives

  • If you are looking for something extraordinary which will completely blow your mind then I guess there are no wow moments in the movie but great fun to watch.
  • The story can be created more intensely and grippingly.
